MRSA

MRSA stands for Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus Aureus, it is a type of bacteria that usually lives harmlessly on the skin. But can cause a serious infection that needs immediate treatment with antibiotics, if it gets inside the body.

It is usually screened for prior to a surgical intervention.  Please read the leaflets in the links below to obtian information on how to self test or if you have been found to have MRSA.
