The Department of Audiology is located within the Primary Care Centre and offers a number of diagnostic audiometric tests for adults.
At present, the paediatric service is limited to middle ear impedance measurement.
Patients are advised to see their General Practitioner / Nurse Practitioner prior to attending their audiology appointment, in order to ensure ears are free of wax / infection prior to testing.
Appointments are pre-booked via the Department’s secretary.
The Department also runs a hearing aid service for adults, which includes issuing and repair of hearing aids.
A “Walk-in” clinic is available on Thursday mornings between 8.30am and 11.00am for minor repairs only.
The Department’s opening times are 08:30 – 15:00 Monday to Friday.
